The Basics

When considering anything worthwhile, start with the basics.

Ready to Become a Member?

If that's you, thank you so much for taking this intentional step of membership at Antioch DC! We value this official level of affirmation and commitment to our church for the clarity and partnership that it brings.

Common Questions

  • Membership is a declaration of belonging to our church family. It's a formal pledge to affirm the vision, beliefs, and values of Antioch D.C. and to seek to serve the church as able.

  • Membership means that you are choosing to take part in the community of Antioch D.C. This means affirming & living The 5 Circles of Church and The 4 Invitations so that you can take part in what God i doing here.

Logistically, it allows you to serve on ministry roles with Kids ministry, Worship ministry, and an opportunity to lead a house church in the future.

  • Not at all. Membership is not a requirement to attend Sunday services, join a House Church, give or serve.* But we do invite everyone who regularly attends to consider what it means to be a part of what God has asked us to do in this city.

*We do require Membership for Kids Ministry, Worship Ministry, and House Church Leadership.

  • Membership is open to any baptized follower of Christ who is in agreement with our Statement of Faith, Vision & Values, The 5 Circles, and The 4 Invitations.

  • As a member, you are committing to walk out the vision and values of Antioch D.C. which means being rooted in a House Church, growing as a disciple, giving, and living on mission in this city. See The 5 Circles and The 4 Invitations for more information.

  • The first step is attending a Members Lunch where we share a meal, meet our leaders, and ask any questions you have about the church. Reach out to admin@antiochdc.com to find out when the next one is. Or, check our events page. We’ll let you know more at that time.

  • We recommend reviewing The 5 Circles, The 4 Invitations, Vision & Values, Our History, and Our Beliefs. That way, you can engage with questions as needed.

  • No problem! Email us and we’ll check on our end.

This is Your Invitation

You’re here for a reason — and we’re glad you’re here. Whatever the next step is, we'd love to help you find it.
