Freedom Prayer
What is Freedom Prayer?
Freedom Prayer is a biblically-based personal prayer ministry that helps you find freedom from the barriers and hindrances caused by wounding and sin. It's a "first responder" ministry — a small group seeking God together for one person's freedom and a more fruitful walk with Him.
The group is small, usually three or four, and everyone is an active participant in seeking the Lord. Much of the time is simply talking together, listening, and walking through forgiving and confessing.
Less formally, it can also become a way of life — honest talking and freedom walking, together bringing your questions, concerns, and thanksgiving to God Himself.

Why should I do it?
It was for freedom that Christ set us free, yet wounding, sin, ungodly beliefs, and entanglements can create strongholds that keep us struggling with God and others. Freedom Prayer takes the finished work of Christ and applies it to the unfinished work of transformation within each of us.
Like many church leaders and friends, we often felt desperately ill-equipped to help people heal, confess, forgive, and be restored. Freedom Prayer is a simple, biblical solution to that — and we believe in personal freedom first.
There is no substitute for experiencing it yourself. As you do, your prayer life deepens, your identity in Christ is made secure, and your awe of a living and loving Father expands.
How does it work?
A session typically involves 2–3 team members and the person seeking prayer, and usually lasts one to three hours. Though it's called Freedom Prayer, much of the time is spent talking, listening, and waiting on the Lord to lead.
Your role is simple — you're just the reporter of what you're feeling, seeing, hearing, or sensing. One team member leads, another listens for greater insight, and another quietly intercedes, as you walk through forgiveness, confession, releasing lies, and receiving God's truth and presence.
The enemy gains access through wounds and sin at specific "open doors"; when those doors are found and closed, that access is removed. Most people experience significant and immediate freedom in the appointment, with more continuing long after — and it works gladly alongside counseling and medical care.
